The Uno Attack game features a battery-powered shooter. With the latest version boasting a more streamlined design and updated card types. Mattel, the creator of Uno Attack, has revamped the launcher to enhance gameplay dynamics. While the new launcher lacks the shelf for Discard pile cards, its sleek profile and potent launching mechanism make it a favorite among enthusiasts.
Uno Attack introduces a set of unique Action Cards that inject excitement into the game. Discard All, Reverse, Skip, Wild, Hit 2, and Wild Attack-Attack add layers of strategy and unpredictability to each turn. These cards can force opponents to : hit the launcher, skip turns, or strategically choose colors, creating a dynamic and engaging gaming experience.
Discard All : This powerful card allows players to discard all cards of the same color, providing a strategic advantage. You can also play it on another Discard All card, amplifying its impact. If the first card of the game is a Discard All card, the first player begins with a card of the same color or another Discard All card.
Reverse : This card reverses the game’s direction from clockwise to counter-clockwise and vice versa.
Skip : When played, this card forces the next player to skip their turn, disrupting their gameplay. If revealed at the game’s start, the first player loses their turn, setting the tone for an unpredictable match.
Wild : The Wild card empowers the player to choose any color, providing flexibility and strategic advantage. You can play it at any turn, influencing the course of the game.
Hit 2 – Playing this card compels the next player to hit the Launcher button twice. If cards eject, the player must collect them all, but they cannot play anything, resulting in a skipped turn. If this card is the first one revealed, the initial player must hit the Launcher twice, setting an intense tone from the start.
Wild Attack-Attack: This card adds excitement, letting players choose a target to “attack” and pick any color. Turning the shooter towards the chosen person, the player presses the launcher button twice. The attacked player collects all ejected cards, creating a dynamic shift in gameplay as play continues with the next participant.

Unlike the old version, the new Uno Attack iteration emphasizes the Wild Attack-Attack card, simplifying the array of Action Cards. The older version, in contrast, boasts a diverse set of Action Cards like Trade Hands, Wild All Hit, and Wild Hit Fire, each presenting unique challenges and tactical opportunities to the game.

Uno Attack accommodates 2-10 players, beginning with the Dealer shuffling and distributing 7 cards to each participant. The Launcher holds the remaining cards, and the game commences as players match cards in the Discard pile or hit the launcher if no matching card is available. The first player to discard all cards must shout “Uno,” aiming to secure victory in the round.
Players accumulate points based on opponents’ remaining cards, with the first to reach 500 points declared the victor. Each card type holds distinct point values, adding strategic depth. Alternatively, keep a running tally of points after each round, declaring the player with the least points the winner upon reaching the agreed threshold.
In a two-player scenario, specific adjustments are implemented to maintain balance and engagement. For instance, Reverse functions as Skip, granting the player an additional turn, and playing a Hit 2 card compels the opponent to hit the launcher twice before the turn reverts.
For a varied gaming experience, Mattel suggests an alternative: keep a running tally of points after each round. This adds an extra layer of strategy, declaring the player with the least points as the winner upon reaching the agreed threshold.
To master Uno Attack, understand rules, appreciate launcher evolution, and strategically deploy action cards. Whether in a two-player duel or a larger group showdown, Uno Attack ensures an exhilarating gaming experience. This aspect solidifies its status as a perennial favorite among Uno enthusiasts worldwide.
